Unlikely

Well, I seriously doubt that I managed a 3500 calorie deficit yesterday but there goes another pound. Let’s see here:
1 Slim Fast 180 calories
1 Large slice of pizza 400 calories?
1/2 small turkey sammich 200 calories?

780 calories for the day.
This site says I need 3157 calories a day so let’s go with a deficit of 2377. That leaves me with losing about 3/4 of a pound. Where did the rest go? I did my normal nightly workout but I don’t think 50 situps, 20 pushups and 10 minutes of chasing the dog around the house burned 1300 calories.

Maybe it’s brain mass. I was certainly a little more stupid than usual yesterday.

  1. My experience is that you’re not eating enough. Too little calories is counteractive to your cause since the body ends up processing less.

    Gotta feed your metabolism to stimulate it.

  2. Yea, I know this isn’t maintainable. I kinda decided to do a week of starvation because I was having a hard time getting past 214. I’m definitly not eating enough 🙂

    Turns out a week is too long, or I went too hard. Going back to a normal diet today so I don’t, you know, die.
