I went home for lunch today and sitting on my porch, looking all forlorn was a wet cardboard box that I recognized. It was the box I sent my Powerbook to Apple in just a few days ago.
Inside, nestled amoung the foam and anti-static wrapping was a nice, dry Powerbook which has aparently had it’s hard drive and LCD replaced. I have no idea why it had it’s LCD replaced but… thanks!
I only had a few minutes to mess with it before I had to get back to work but so far it seems all happy. Hooray for Apple! It shipped to Apple Tuesday morning and was fixed and on my porch less than 48 hours later. Take heed lesser manufacturers!
